Evening of Wellbeing & Connection, with Alison Curtis

June 11 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Evening of Wellbeing & Connection, with Alison Curtis and three additional  therapists to facilitate your relaxation and wellbeing!

Thursday 11 June 2026, 7.30-9.30pm

Chandlers Ford Methodist Church (no Zoom live-stream for this one)

Free to HACP members, £10 to non-members

Come and experience 2 hours of relaxation, and experience some different approaches for reducing anxiety and overload.

After our successful Wellbeing Day in September 2024, we now bring you our mini version: an Evening of Wellbeing and Connection, for all our hard-working members who give so much to others.

Now is a chance to take some time for you!

This evening is an opportunity to reflect, connect and restore yourself. It is also an opportunity to experience some alternative approaches that you may not have experienced before, and which you can choose to follow-up after this evening, for your own self-care or indeed to refer clients to if it feels appropriate.

Curated by The Relationship Specialist, Alison Curtis, we have some treats in store for you:

Chair Yoga, by James Finucane to loosen and energise your limbs and joints. James is a member of HACP. He works with individuals and couples, and also teaches yoga.

An anxiety or ‘stress-buster’ by Libby Dix, a hypnotherapist. Libby’s approach integrates an awareness of the nervous system, a curiosity about belief systems, and a commitment to helping clients step into a more secure and authentic version of themselves. She will offer us the opportunity to experience hypnotherapy – giving the equivalent of a mind massage – and allowing the little grey cells a bit of a declutter!

A Community Singing Circle, for joy, connection, healing and wellbeing, by Sandi Macy Hart, a somatic yoga and meditation facilitator. Sandi has facilitated music, movement and meditation sessions for 15+ years in various community settings. She is now also offering Community Singing Circles, sharing uplifting and soothing songs, learnt by ear. There is absolutely no need whatsoever to have a ‘singing voice’, or indeed even to be able to sing in tune. This is very much about what we can create by connecting together.

Please wear something loose or stretchy – comfortable – to allow for movement and easy breathing. Tight jeans are probably not the best option! No need to bring anything other than yourself, but you are welcome to bring a cushion for your chair and a water bottle if you like. We look forward to seeing you there!
