This workshop’s teaching will be underpinned by the evidence-based work of Professor Corey Keyes described in his book, ‘Languishing.’

Helping others is listed by Corey Keyes as one of the keys to flourishing. How can we as counsellors help our clients and ourselves to be more successful in helping others?

Perhaps the client is unaware of gifts they have in which case their gifts can be explored.

             Perhaps the client is unaware of the possibility of abundance in their life.  This can be addressed.

             Where can the client go for inspiration, support and encouragement?

             What first steps can the client take?  What goals are inspiriting and achievable?

These and other issues regarding Helping Others will be explored creatively and reflectively. You are invited to join me for a stimulating and uplifting day, which will be enjoyable and useful. I will look forward to seeing those who would like to explore this topic with me.

David Brown MA has degrees in psychology and linguistics, diplomas in counselling and psycho-spiritual psychotherapy, and a certificate in life coaching.  His main work these days is delivering workshops.

A free Quaker booklet written by David, ‘What does Love Require of Us?’ (relevant to this workshop) will be given to all who attend the workshop.
