This talk will consider coercive control and domestic abuse. Cindy will look at how you might identify this in the therapy room, and how to ensure a safe and appropriate response. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, so please come prepared for an interactive talk!

Cindy has a wealth of experience working with children and families, domestic abuse perpetrators and victims. She has managed services across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight and now trains a whole range of professionals in many aspects of safe-guarding. This includes domestic abuse and contextual safe-guarding. Cindy is committed to employers recognising their legal duty to protect and has been working with corporates to train Domestic Abuse Champions in the workplace.
