The 3rd Key to Wellbeing is ‘Playing’, according to the work by Professor Corey Keyes, upon which this series of 5 workshops is built. Play, or ‘stepping out of time’ as Corey Keyes puts it, is listed as one of the five keys to flourishing. How can we as counsellors, help our clients and ourselves to be more successful in experiencing play, playfulness and ‘stepping out of time’?
The ‘5 Keys’ are evidence-based ways to reach a place of flourishing. Helping our clients and ourselves to invite the ‘keys’ into our lives promotes better mental health. Come and find out how you might encourage therapeutic play in the counselling room, using a variety of approaches, including fairy stories, movement, inner child and instant theatre.
If you’re ready to invite meaningful connection, additional creativity and deep nourishment for the soul into your life and your therapy room, with some therapeutic playfulness thrown in, contact Zana by email on info@hacp.co.uk to book your place.
There will be a booking deadline, so don’t leave it too long!
Only 15 places available.
David and Vanda are trained psychospiritual therapists and have been running psychospiritual workshops for several years. They published ‘The Six Initiations’ in 2006. They will use some of this material, especially the unit on Child and Abundance, to help bring the theme of PLAY to life.
