I will help you gain greater understanding of situations; discover how you may form a part of them and together we will explore new possibilities.
Qualifications and TrainingI hold a Diploma of Higher Education in Humanistic Gestalt Counselling with distinction (Bucks New University).
I retired from Hampshire Police after nearly 3 decades in a variety of specialisms, including domestic violence, child protection, and the management of fellow police officers impacted by traumatic experiences.
I attend professional conferences, workshops and have trained with the Pacific Gestalt Institute, California and am currently training at the Gestalt Centre Wales, doing a post graduate diploma in Children and Young Persons Psychotherapy (working towards UKCP accreditation as a Psychotherapist). I am also a volunteer with a local youth charity providing counselling for children and young people.
FeesOur first session is a mutual assessment, primarily to explore what has brought you to counselling, what your expectations are, if counselling is appropriate and whether I am the counsellor for you. I offer this at a discounted price of £30. There is no obligation to proceed.
The counselling process normally involves weekly one-to-one sessions lasting 50 minutes, at a cost of £40.
