Qualifications and Training
I have a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (Hackney Community College, 2007) and an MA in Counselling & Psychotherapy (Regent's University, 2016). In 2012 I also completed an OCST (Online Counselling Services and Training) course in online counselling.
Aside from counselling/psychotherapy I have over 20 years experience working in social care and the voluntary/not-for-profit sector. Throughout the course of my career I have undergone training on issues such as immigration, domestic violence, child protection, addiction, mental health, trauma, debt/financial difficulties and neurodiversity.
Clients
I currently offer online counselling services to individual adults with a range of presenting issues and needs. However, areas of professional interest and specialisation for me include :- bereavement and loss, stress, trauma and burnout, and working with clients whose jobs or lifestyles require them to frequently change locations or to be 'away from home'.
Other Services
Over the past six years I have been regularly delivering training on a range of mental health issues (such as stress, trauma, vicarious trauma, burnout and compassion fatigue) to organisations within the charity, international aid, and maritime industries. I am happy to tailor and deliver trainings on these or similar issues as part of my private practice.
Fees
I currently charge £70 per 50 minute session for individual counselling.
Rates for training and other consultancy work can be discussed upon application.
